Heyday Farm House is offering an evening of culinary inspiration, interactive cooking demonstration and libations… We are having a piroshki party!
Piroshki, (also spelled Pirozhki) is a pie-like bun, usually baked, made from yeast leavened dough and originating from Russia. This versatile dough can be made either savory or sweet, and wrapped around just about any of your favorite ingredients. This hands-on class will teach you the basics of laminated dough, fillings, and how to shape the piroshki.
Guided by two of our chefs, you will make a short rib and caramelized onion piroshki with sauerkraut and goat cheese, and a sweet potato and mushroom piroshki with garlic and leeks.
Cost: $75.00 per person, including tax and gratuity. This hands-on experience commences with celebratory bubbles and an opening bite upon arrival. After the demonstration, you will shape and bake a piroshki of your own. Following will be a piroshki feast and you will take your creation home with you! Additional beer and wine are available at dinner for purchase by the glass and bottle.
Heyday Farm Wine Dinner featuring Beckham Estate Vineyards
Thursday, March 29, 2018
6 PM – 9 PM
This March, Chef Tad has invited owner and winemaker of Beckham Estate Vineyard, Andrew Beckham, to join us for an evening of farm-to-table fare, community, and handcrafted wines.

Husband and wife team, Andrew and Annedria began dry farming their organic winery in 2005 and have been growing it ever since. Andrew has combined his love of ceramics and education with artisanal winemaking. He has done this through ancient methods of fermenting Pinot Noir in handmade clay vessels called amphorae, that he creates in-house. This clay imparts a delicious earthiness to his Oregon Pinot Noir that is unrivaled.

The evening will begin in the barn with Andrew pouring a tasting from the winery. After the tasting, you will be invited into the Farmhouse for a 4-course meal prepared by our Executive Chef, Tadao Mitsui.

$75.00 per person. Ticket includes wine tasting upon arrival, 4-course meal, tax and gratuity. Additional Beckham Estate Vineyard wines will be available for purchase by the glass, bottle & case.
